How to Fit Into the Belly of a Wolf
I wrote and designed this zine that tells the story of my personal experiences with bullying — times as a child when I felt my worth was diminished by a good “friend” or when dealing with sexist comments from a boss as an adult. I created a “How To” manual written by those doing the bullying, portrayed as wolves, and myself/women portrayed as Little Red Riding Hood. The wolves teach women to shrink themselves in order to fit into the belly of a wolf. At the end of this tale, there is a library check-out card that has a drawing left by Red of her reprimanding a wolf to demonstrate empowerment and bravery for the women who read this
